Welcome to Camp Sycamore Creek!

Many children who grow up in public housing never have the opportunity to explore outside their own neighborhoods. Most have never built a campfire, hiked in the woods, or taken a vacation. Each year Camp Sycamore Creek provides this serene experience for over 500 children.

Camp Sycamore Creek is set on 24 acres in the beautiful rolling hills between Joelton and Springfield, TN and is named for Sycamore Creek, which runs around the edge of the property. We welcome everyone who enjoys a peaceful, scenic retreat in the woods.

Camp Sycamore Creek operates as a 501(c)3 organization in Tennessee. Our mission and #1 priority is to provide inner-city children with a summer camp experience that will enrich their physical, mental and spiritual growth.
